Engagement or wedding gift
From the engagement until the wedding day, there are many opportunities to select a present that is "just right" for the recipient.
The "question" needs to be asked, the couple usually exchange gifts (e.g., rings), the parents or grandparents would love a gift to remember the wedding, and then there's the wedding day with the need to select the perfect gift for the bride and groom.
We've had a number of customers who have used our Encrypta cryptex as part of the fun of asking the "question". In fact, several customers have requested the same secret code for their personalized cryptex - "MARRYME". In these situations, the groom-to-be placed the engagement ring inside the hidden chamber-key and then provided an appropriate riddle for the secret code.

Another secret code we've seen selected a number of times is "FOREVER". What a great idea for almost any member of the wedding family.
More than with almost any other gift-giving situation, the gifts for a wedding have a special significance because the event only happens once (or, at least everybody hopes so).
Therefore, there's even a greater desire to come up with a gift idea that is creative and unique. Even better would be a gift that was personalized to the recipient - whether it's the bride and groom or the parents and grandparents.
And, what about those weddings where cash or a check is the expected gift? Well, you could place the money-gift in an envelope with an enclosed card. But wouldn't it be incredibly special if the money-gift was tucked away inside the hidden chamber-key of a cryptex? Then you could provide a riddle for the cryptex secret code that the bride and groom would need to solve in order to access their gift. Doing this would certainly make your money-gift the one they'd remember for the rest of their lives.
